Personally, i am quite old school when it comes to albums, i try not to use albums that have clear pockets for one size picture in a set layout, i prefer to use plain old style black page albums that require mounts to stick pictures to the pages, this allows bigger prints and i can lay them out how i want.
I love the freedom of blank page albums, but it also makes them harder to put together, as with freedom to use different print sizes, it makes selecting images tougher as you have to think about will it be a small print or a larger print.
Unfortunately my handwriting isnt too great or i would use a silver pen to write captions and things, but then depending on the album it ruins the look of them, and this album would be ruined by captions.
This particular album i have been working on for a couple of years, yes a couple of years, but i am pretty fussy when it comes to selecting images to album, some of the pics i have printed a few different times with varying degrees of result.
I might be finished with this album in another 12 months hahaha...
